Food Bank
We support hundreds of families and individuals on low income who are struggling to afford to feed themselves or their families and the spiralling cost of living has seen an increase in numbers.
Our daytime sessions offer fresh fruit pots and healthy, home-cooked meals at a very low cost for guests to take home and reheat. Adult meals are £1. Child meals are free. Guests can also choose items such as vegetables, bread and tinned goods and toiletries (available free or to buy at very low prices) to help them balance their food budgets. Clothes and toys are also available.
We organise special themed family days during the school holidays, offering parents and their children free food, free haircuts, free treats, health advice and a place to temporarily relax away from the stresses of life.
When: Every Thursday. 11.30am -12.30pm (adults only). 1pm– 2pm (adults attending with children present).
